  • Jennifer Berdahl

    Professor Berdahl is the Montalbano Professor of Leadership Studies: Gender and Diversity, at the Sauder School of Business. She has studied gender and leadership, diversity in work groups, and organizational behavior that reinforces gender and racial inequalities. Her work has focused on workplace harassment, documenting sexual harassment against assertive women to men who fail to conform to masculine ideals, including minority men and caregiving fathers. She has consulted with a wide variety of organizations on their policies regarding gender and diversity, including universities, unions, police forces and private companies. Professor Berdahl has worked for the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, served as an expert witness on harassment and discrimination cases within the U.S. and Canada, and has been called to testify on this topic for the Canadian Senate and House of Commons.
