Mike Goldberg has been studying diverse aspects of the economy of cities, their land markets, transportation systems and global competitiveness. In this talk, Mike will connect how these interests arose from growing up and attending school in Brooklyn, New York during the 1940s and 1950s.

  • Mike Goldberg has been studying diverse aspects of the economy of cities, their land markets, transportation systems and global competitiveness. He has also had an increasing focus on the role of Asia in Canada’s in the future of Canada and its cities. While thinking about this research for his talk at Green College, Mike realized that that these interests arose from growing up and attending school in Brooklyn, New York during the 1940s and 1950s. In this session, Mike will sketch out these links and looks forward to deepening them through an active exchange.
