Green College Resident Members' Series -
If you’ve ever lived in Vancouver, you are familiar with the ridiculously high housing prices in the city. Just how the price increases are spread out is less clear, however. This talk will address the leading factors behind the housing price dynamics in Vancouver and give an account of the spatial diffusion of price increases across the Greater Vancouver Area.
Ida has completed her Bachelor’s in International Economics and for reasons both known and unknown temporarily switched to urban geography for her MA. She is interested in applications of economics to understand how it directly impacts our lives in urban settings. Currently her research focuses on the Vancouver area. -
