What does “access to justice” mean for people who are sexually assaulted, most of whom are women and girls? Janine Benedet and Tracy Pickett will consider the role of health care in ensuring access to justice, the benefits and drawbacks of various legal avenues, and the particular challenges for victims who are marginalized by intersecting inequalities.
