  • Piano repertoire has undergone a significant transformation in the past 50 years. The contemporary works are no longer based on traditional models but continue to forge new ground as composers challenge pianists’ interpretive and technical abilities to the extreme.
     
    Please pre-register to secure priority seating in the Piano Lounge for this event. If you do not receive a confirmation email after submitting the online form, please contact our office at gc.events@ubc.ca. Your reservation will expire at 4:55 pm, five minutes prior to the start of the event. The doors will open for general seating (without a reservation) at that time, until the venue (and possible overflow seating, when available) is full. Guests without a confirmed reservation will be asked to wait until 4:55 when general seating opens. Coffee will be available in Graham House.

She has won critical acclaim for her international concerts and for recordings that have been broadcast all over the world.
