  • “One woman’s mishap?—what is that? A thing as trivial to the great world as it’s sordid in most eyes. But the time has come when a woman may look about her, and say, ‘What general significance has my secret pain? Does it ‘join on’ to anything?’ And I find it does.”

First performed in 1907, Elizabeth Robins’ Votes for Women! provides a startlingly timely exploration of the place of women in politics, women’s reproductive rights, poverty, the wage gap, and debates surrounding the effectiveness of peaceful protest. On March 16 to 18, join the Green College players for an evening of passionate speech-making, witty banter, romance, and political intrigue!

Tickets available at the door, entry by cash donation. All proceeds will go to Vancouver’s Downtown Eastside Women’s Centre.
