Donald Trump's campaign in the 2016 US Presidential Election has created many problems for journalists and political scientists. How does a journalist tell a story when a candidate's statements are so completely false that there is no way to report them from an unbiased position? How do you ask hard-hitting questions to a candidate when challenging her may mean voters are swayed towards a much more dangerous opponent? Is the two-party system of the U.S. still viable or are third parties required?
