Green College Public Lectures and Events Calendar

Welcome to a new season at Green College!

With few exceptions, public events and presentations this fall will be on Zoom, until such time as we are routinely able to host them “live” at the College again, which on our current best projection will not be until after the Thanksgiving holiday in October. Exceptions—e.g. for events taking place outside the precincts of Green College—are clearly marked in the publicity.

We ask that all guests in our virtual Coach House kindly keep their microphones muted when not taking part in discussion. Moderators will let you know when questions are invited. As usual, we will record the main presentations but not the Q&A. In keeping with UBC’s policy in this regard, we rely upon you to be courteous and considerate of speakers and other guests online. Inappropriate behaviour or comments during a lecture may result in your being excluded from the event in progress and from future online events at the College.

We look forward to “seeing” you soon!

Upcoming public lectures and events are listed below, by month. Over the academic year new events and details are added.
