in the series Green College Leading Scholars: A Study of Movement - In Three Movements
This panel will open a transdisciplinary discourse on the question “What moves families?” Audience members are invited to take a journey from the slave economy of the Roman Empire, through patterns of inter-marriage and migration in the 21st century, to the developmental trajectories of today’s children and youth in BC—and then wherever else they wish to go. The overall aim will be to discuss contemporary and historical social patterns in families, and connect the “what was then” with the “what is now.”
