in the series Green College Resident Members’ Series / Actors on the Anthropo(s)cene
This special edition of the Green College Members’ Series brings emerging scholars from diverse fields into conversation about economic growth and environmental sustainability. The panelists, who come from economics, geography, ecology, environmental studies and anthropology, will use structured dialogue to build understanding around a topic that commonly generates dispute between disciplines. They will share perspectives on the tension between our current economic systems and the environment, on what change towards sustainability is possible within a growth model, and on the feasibility and desirability of alternative economic models.
Unless otherwise noted, all of our lectures are free to attend and do not require registration.
